Should everyone learn to code? Should all web professionals know HTML? Should Joel show us the picture of the space shuttle he made in Logo?
We finally get a guest–Michael Sulis! Our original intention for having guests was to spend the first half of the show ranting about a topic, and then having our guest jump in and show us just how wrong we are. However, this time our guest happens to agree with Kristin and Joel and adds some valuable insight about what code means to him as a developer for backend notifications systems for utilities and other scary-important things.
We also discuss teaching code to kids and how to spark an interest in nerdery in everyone.
