We are joined by Katie Del Angel, marketing manager at Copious and organizer of many events, to talk about social media. Kristin admits failure at running a Twitter account that’s not 90% nonsensical jokes. We ask important questions like: Do large telecom companies “like” tweets? Katie schools us in how to create a strategy around which channels might be best for your company and how to talk to your customers. She also tells us how NOT to use social media, aka “social shoehorning”. Joel quantifies the cost of writing Tweets and says things like “Being authentic is delightful”.
